Integrative Therapies in Hospice and Palliative Care
- Audience: General public
- Description: Video courses of about an hour each providing practical information on how integrative therapies can help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life
- Topics: Learn about the most popular and helpful integrative therapies in palliative care including Acupuncture, Aromatherapy (essential oils), Biofield Therapies (Reiki, Healing Touch), Expressive Arts (music therapy, art therapy), Massage and Touch Interventions, Mind-Body and Contemplative Therapies (mindfulness, meditation, visualization), Movement Therapies (yoga, tai chi, dance)
- Practical: Learn how and where these therapies are provided, what credentials to look for in a provider, how they are paid for, and how to talk with your care team about these options
